Sega Superstars Tennis is a sports video game, crossing over numerous Sega franchises, including Jet Set Radio, Sonic the Hedgehog, Alex Kidd, Space Channel 5 and more. It was released in March 2008. It would later release for Mac devices in October 17, five years later.
Gameplay[]
Similar to another tennis video game series by Sega, characters are able to do perform moves such as lob shots and and drop shots. Characters are also varied in stats with some being stronger in control or more proficient in power. Every character in the game has a "Superstar State", a special move that activates after filling up a meter.
Beat's Superstar State has him summon Combo to spray the Jet Set Radio logo to make opponents slip while moving. Gum's Superstar State has her summon the police from Jet Set Radio to block opponents while also being able to launch the ball much faster in a zigzag movement. The Jet Set Radio series is also represented by a few music tracks from both Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future, along with a stage that is based on the bus terminal area of Shibuya-cho from the first game.
There are also missions in the game based on various Sega franchise such as ChuChu Rocket! and Virtua Cop. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases of the game included online multiplayer as well. The Wii version of the game allows different control options while the Nintendo DS release allows the player to use the stylus during gameplay.

- In a post-release video posted by Sega themselves,[2] showcases Amigo from Samba de Amigo completing a mission on the Jet Set Radio stage with "Funky Dealer" by Hideki Naganuma as the background music. Funky Dealer's intro can be briefly heard after "Jet Set Station #2" plays but there is no confirmation if the song was ever going to be included in the final product nor is it known if it was used during the beta of the game.
