Hikage Street (ヒカゲ通り Hikage-dōri?, lit. Hikage Avenue) is an area in Jet Set Radio Future that is just outside of Shibuya Terminal. It is the home turf of the Love Shockers.

Overview[]

Hikage Street is a area that appears to be under construction. The area is displayed in a maze-like way, where the player is given the option to go either forward, left or right. This results in a somewhat confusing traversal aspect as it is extremely easy to get lost. Unlike Dogenzaka Hill, Shibuya Terminal, and Chuo Street, Hikage Street lacks moving transportation like the other Shibuya district areas, and does not feature crowds of citizens, but rather couples throughout the location hanging out and spending time together.

Story[]

Hikage Street is first unlocked during chapter 4, to which the GG's travel to cover up all of the Immortals' graffiti in the area. DJ Professor K reveals that the Love Shockers "were mixing it up" with the Immortals at Hikage. After doing so, Hayashi will appear with the first rendition of the Terror Drone, prompting a boss fight. Hayashi and the Terror Drone are taken down.

After the game of Death Ball at the Tokyo Rokkaku Expo Stadium is interrupted by the appearance of Hayashi and the second version of the Terror Drone, upon returning to Hikage Street in Chapter 7 or chapters 8 and 9, the GG's are forced to play against the Love Shockers in a game of Jet Flag in this area, to make up for their interrupted match during the tournament.

Mystery Tape[]

To find the Mystery Tape in Hikage Street, the player should take the last dead-end left turn before entering the open western section of the level.
