Highway Zero (国道ゼロ号 Kokudō Zero-gō?, lit. National Highway Zero) is a location that appears in Jet Set Radio Future. It can be accessed from the Skyscraper District and Pharaoh Park, after the player gets close to defeating the Immortals in a game of Tagger's Tag.
Overview[]
Expanding upon Route Zero from Benten-cho in Jet Set Radio, Highway Zero is a fairly busy area, with vehicles on the move. However, throughout the place shows that it has construction going on around it. There is also a small vendor shopping area too.
Story[]
The GG's first arrive to Highway Zero after almost taking down the Immortals in a game of Tagger's Tag at their home turf. When they arrive, the Immortals are with "Yoyo", who is locked in a cage. The GG's quickly participate in another game of Tagger's Tag. After the GG's tag all of the Immortals' backs, a cutscene will show the cage trapping the player, causing "Yoyo" to escape. This leads into the current GG's member being taken taken to the Tokyo Rokkaku Expo Stadium afterwards.
Later on the GG's fight the second bigwig of the Golden Rhinos, Staff Officer Fire, a pyromaniac. After defeating her, a cutscene will play showing her being engulfed in her own flames and her out-of-control flamethrower reaching toward a billboard, which catches fire and then falls onto her, killing her.

Graffiti Souls[]
Highway Zero, like most areas, has eight Graffiti Souls that can be collected. Three pre-spawned ones, and five from Street Challenges.
Pre-spawned souls[]
- Underneath the exit to Skyscraper District (No. 23)
- Behind some boxes in the vendor district, the area with the phone poles and neon lights. (No. 051)
- In the pit after the six billboards. (No. 80)
Street Challenge Souls[]
- Grind Combo x 15: This soul can be found in one of the neon lights at the shopping district. (No. 108)
- Air Combo x 5: Located on the metal platform above the Highway in the level. (No. 136)
- 70 Tricks: On a billboard past the pit. (No. 024)
- 90,000 points: Air over the pit and keep traveling. The soul will be on the right. (No. 052)
- W->W->W->W->W->W: Located on top of a building. Boost Dash from a light pole to get this soul. Alternatively, this soul can be reached by grinding up to the rooftop with the pipes, and then grinding the phone pole and airing right. (No. 081)

In Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Highway Zero itself does not physically appear in game, but it does by name, being incorrectly used as the name for 99th Street.

- Highway Zero is one of four story mode locations that can be played in VS. Mode. The other three are the Future Site of the Rokkaku Expo Stadium, Chuo Street, and the Bottom Point of the Sewage Facility.
